About Us
We are a music association at SDU promoting musical events and activities, open to the entire university community—students, staff, and faculty.
Our mission is to foster musical engagement through diverse initiatives: establishing partnerships with local venues in Odense, acquiring and managing musical equipment and instruments for practice and study, and creating musical ensembles.
This initiative is inspired by similar experiences at other European universities where music associations have created valuable spaces for cultural exchange and artistic development within the academic community.
What We Do
Musical Ensembles
Creating and supporting musical groups for musicians of all levels, possibly including a jazz big band, a classical orchestra and a marching band.
Equipment & Practice
Managing musical equipment and instruments for practice and study. SDU already has two pianos available for members.
Events & Partnerships
Establishing partnerships with local venues throughout Odense and organizing occasional events on campus.
Workshops
Hosting masterclasses, jam sessions, and educational workshops with local and guest musicians.
Collaborations
We work together with various institutions and organizations to create a thriving musical ecosystem at SDU and in Odense.
